Introducing the new SWEAT HIIT Class now available to book for members and non-members. SWEAT is a 45 minute, high intensity, non-CrossFit class accessible for all, built to help improve your health and fitness in a shorter class and with less technical movements.
If you’re not into CrossFit or prefer less technical movements then SWEAT is perfect for you! Hosted in our main gym at CrossFit Skipton in Embsay Mills we believe that the SWEAT class should be accessible for all!
Our SWEAT HIIT Class is also open to non-members of CrossFit Skipton and drop-ins are very welcome. There is also no need to sign up for a membership so you can book on whenever’d you’d prefer.
You don’t need any previous experience or any fitness level to join either. The workouts will suit all.

Whilst SWEAT is a HIIT Class, we try and make fitness accessible for all so we have made the classes scalable for all different ages, experience levels and fitness levels too.
Whether you're experienced and want to try something different or if you're starting out on your fitness journey, SWEAT HIIT Classes are perfect for you!
Our programming means that not only can all abilities do the workout but you can have fun doing it!

As with every class at CrossFit Skipton our coaches take time to ensure everyone is warmed up and ready for the movements, as well as explaining each exercise and making sure everyone has the right weights and scaling options for the HIIT Class.

The main difference between our HIIT classes and our CrossFit classes is the complexity of the movements. Our SWEAT HIIT Classes are built to give great results with simpler movements: fitness made easy!
High Intesity Interval Training (HIIT) is a type of class that involves exercising in short, fast bursts of movements with periods of lower intesity or rest that increases and decreases the heart rate quickly.
As a result of this rapid increase and decrease of your heart rate, your body will become better at moving blood around your body, improving the ability to provide Oxygen to your muscles, improving your heart health and helping you become fitter in the process.
Not only that, but HIIT has been shown to help burn more calories than slower, traditional "cardio" too. HIIT classes are a great way to kick start your fitness goals whatever that may be.
Many studies have shown that HIIT is a great way to get fantastic health and fitness results fast! There are plenty of HIIT workouts in our regular CrossFit classes but our SWEAT HIIT classes include simpler movements and without a strength or gymnastics element.
